Presenter Bio: Olga Kochar is Director of Laboratory and Transfusion Services at George Washington University Hospital. Olga Kochar is a veteran laboratory professional with diverse background and extensive experience. In almost 20 years in the healthcare industry, Mrs. Kochar has served in numerous management positions with commercial, pharmaceutical and hospital-based laboratories. She has extensive experience directing laboratory engagements, including assessments, implementations, integrations, consolidations, outreach assistance, laboratory information system design and analysis, development of comprehensive policies and procedures, as well as coordination and implementation of the effective compliance and safety programs. Olga is a Quality Champion that is a certified Six Sigma belt. She also teaches Management at the GWU Clinical Laboratory Sciences program.
