Presenter Bio: For 11 years Dan Scungio has served as a Laboratory Safety Officer for Sentara Healthcare, a large system in Virginia and North Carolina. He oversees safety for clinical labs, histology and IHC labs, and morgue operations. As "Dan the Lab Safety Man" he runs a lab safety consulting business providing education, on-site audits, and training in labs throughout the country. As an author of multiple lab safety books and articles, he has become the go-to safety resource for safety-savvy labs everywhere.
