We will review standards in British Columbia for the Diagnostic Accreditation Program and for the College of American Pathologists. Sample tools will be provided to leaners for record keeping and the creation of policies and procedures.

Presenter Bio:  Nadia Gale has been a Medical Laboratory Technologist for 20 years and has worked in several different Anatomic Pathology settings during that time including research, veterinary and clinical.  She is currently the Technical Practice Lead for Vancouver Coastal Health and oversees the operations of three AP laboratories covering a large geographical area along the British Columbia coastline. Her current passion is the standardization of immunohistochemistry controls for precision medicine biomarkers.
